Things to note when maintaining Electric Car
October 19, 2024
1. Correctly master the charging time of Electric Car: accurately master the charging time according to the actual situation, and master the charging frequency by referring to the usual frequency of use and mileage. Overcharging, over-discharging and undercharging will shorten the battery life.
2. Avoid high current discharge: When starting, carrying people and going uphill, Electric Car should try to avoid slamming on the acceleration to avoid instantaneous high current discharge.
3. It is strictly forbidden to lose power during storage: it is strictly forbidden to store
New Car batteries in a state of loss of power during storage. Loss of power means that the battery is not charged in time after use. Therefore, when the battery is idle, it should be charged once a month to better maintain the health of the battery.
4. Check the tire pressure frequently: In order to maintain the correct tire pressure of Electric Car, the tire pressure must be checked every two weeks or at least once a month.
5. Avoid plug heating during charging: 220-volt power plug or charger output plug is loose, and oxidation of the contact surface will cause the plug to heat up. Heating for too long will cause the plug to short-circuit or poor contact, damage the charger and battery, and bring unnecessary losses. Therefore, when the above situation is found, the oxide or connector should be replaced in time.
6. Avoid exposure to the sun: Electric Car are prohibited from being exposed to the sun. An environment with too high a temperature will increase the internal pressure of the battery and cause the battery to lose water, causing the battery activity to decrease and accelerating the aging of the electrode plate.
7. Clean the vehicle regularly: The vehicle body should be cleaned regularly to prevent dust and dirt from damaging the vehicle body. During the cleaning process, care should be taken to prevent water from flowing into the charging socket of the vehicle body to prevent short circuits in the vehicle body circuit.
